Marina Bay Sands® Hotel and Sands SkyPark®
Singapore’s newest entertainment destination, Marina Bay Sands® offers luxury accommodation, shopping, dining, world class entertainment, and convention & exhibition facilities.
It’s the biggest hotel in Singapore, with three 55-storey towers, 2,560 luxury rooms and suites, and 18 different room types. Its 230 luxury suites will also come with butler service and privileged access to VIP areas, while all rooms offer views of the South China Sea or Marina Bay and the Singapore skyline. The hotel offers an array of dining experiences, including Rise, an all-day restaurant, and Jin Shan Lou, a new high-end restaurant serving exquisite Chinese fare.
With its sloping towers (angles as steep as 26 degrees), and straight legs connected at Level 23 to form a single building, the Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of the most complex hotels ever built. The “Hanging Gardens” of bougainvillea that extend from every balcony that faces the sea provide a magnificent backdrop, and stretches into the upcoming Gardens by the Bay.
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel will also be home to the Marina Bay Sands Art Path, featuring five internationally renowned artists. Their large-scale installations create shapes, moods and interior spaces, giving you the opportunity to visually and physically experience large-scale artworks in one destination. The works form a path extending from the 23rd-storey atrium in the hotel towers to the building exterior, weaving back through the building. This is one of the largest art commissions ever completed as part of an integrated architectural process, and has to be seen to be experienced.
The three towers of the hotel are capped by the Sands SkyPark®, 200 metres in the sky, offering 360-degree views of Singapore’s skyline. This architectural masterpiece is a 1.2 hectare tropical oasis, longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall, and large enough to park four-and-a-half A380 jumbo jets. It will be home to the world’s largest public cantilever housing an observation deck, lush gardens, restaurants, and an infinity-edged swimming pool. With its exclusive restaurants and bars, a stunning public observation deck, as well as a 150-metre infinity swimming pool, a visit to this engineering feat will be one you won’t forget.
