One of the most popular shopping street markets in Hong Kong, Ladies’ Market is a must-visit destination for fashion lovers with an eye for bargain-priced clothing, bags, accessories, toys, cosmetics and household knick-knacks. The stalls making up this enjoyable market can be found on Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok. It is open from noon until 11:30pm.

Don’t be deceived by the name. Ladies’ Market has something for everyone with bargain-priced items, including men’s and women’s clothing, knick-knacks, watches and beauty products.

Tung Choi Street, of which the Ladies Market is located, can be compared to the famous Temple Street Night Market. Men who visit the Ladies Market will most likely be attracted by the stalls selling designer watches. The Mongkok Computer Shopping Centre which is positioned close by is also a great attraction among men. Furthermore, just a street away from the Ladies Market is Sai Yeung Choi Street South which specialises in consumer electronics.

The Ladies Market is usually crowded, therefore quite a little bit of pushing can be expected here. The northern section of the Market is popular for selling goldfish and this area is known by locals as the Goldfish Street or Goldfish Market.

For the ladies, Hong Kong Shopping would be incomplete without a visit to the vibrant Ladies Market. The best way to reach this fascinating marketplace is by bus, MTR or taxis; however the most convenient mode of transport is the MTR. Meanwhile, staying at a well-equipped accommodation such as Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong will make a visit to the Ladies Market much more pleasing and exciting.
